The Nucleus Orchestral Texas

Since its launch in May 2024, The Nucleus Orchestral Program has been dedicated to fostering musical talent and community leadership among young people.

Under the direction of Venezuelan flutist Katherine Rivas and cellist Enn Rene Díaz Malavé, the program offers comprehensive orchestral training to students ages 4 to 17 in Houston, Texas.

Inspired by Venezuela’s renowned El Sistema, the program offers instruction on a variety of instruments, including violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, drums, and percussion.
